COMFORT HOME CARE — ROCKVILLE, MD Receives ‘Best of Bethesda’ Community Award for In-Home Care
Rockville, MD – Comfort Home Care is honored to share that they have been awarded with their fourth “Best of Bethesda Award, In-home Care—A Top Vote Getter.” Recognized as a distinguished provider of in-home care by Bethesda Magazine, this accolade is based on recommendations from Bethesda area seniors and their families. Comfort Home Care has now received the esteemed award for four years.
Comfort Home Care was founded in 1999 at a time when qualified, reliable, and flexible in-home care in Bethesda and throughout Maryland was hard to find. The company’s principal wanted to respect his own parents’ wishes to age in place, but needed to be sure that they remained safe, comfortable and happy while maintaining their dignity and independence. Eighteen years later, Comfort Home Care is a well-established and respected member of the Bethesda, MD community. Comfort Home Care is a family-owned and operated local business—not a franchise.
With Comfort Home Care, people come first. Care plans are uniquely created for every client, and Registered Nurses conduct periodic visits to each client to ensure that the care plan is being followed, and evaluate whether the plan needs any adjustments. They begin by understanding each client’s health history, personal preferences, and individual needs. Not only do they discover current care needs, but also develop an idea of what future needs might be. This process allows the Comfort Home Care professionals to give their clients the absolute best of people-focused, individualized in-home care.
Comfort Home Care provides its premier, people-focused approach to in-home care to Montgomery County—the community they call home. They are licensed, bonded, insured, and their professional caregivers are certified by Alzheimer’s Association. Their expert team of caregivers includes certified nursing assistants, geriatric nursing assistants, and registered nurses. Comfort Home Care professionals enable their Bethesda clients to continue living as fully as possible—going above and beyond the typical “activities of daily living” (ADLs)—by helping with medication reminders, meal preparation, light cleaning, laundry, exercise, and facilitating visits to the grocery store, pharmacy, or appointments.
Comfort Home Care would like to extend heartfelt thanks to all the seniors and their families that voted for Comfort Home Care in the 2018 Best of Bethesda Awards.
