COMFORT HOME CARE — ROCKVILLE, MD: 5x Winner of ‘Best of Bethesda’ Community Award for In-Home Care
Rockville, MD – Comfort Home Care is celebrating their fifth “Best of Bethesda Award, In-home Care—A Top Vote Getter.”
Recognized as an esteemed provider of in-home care by Bethesda Magazine, this distinction relies on endorsements from Bethesda area seniors and their families. Comfort Home Care has now received the highly regarded award for five years.
Comfort Home Care was founded in 1999 at a time when qualified, reliable, and flexible in-home care in Bethesda and throughout Maryland was hard to find. Principal, Bill Gelfeld, wanted to respect his own parents’ wishes to age in place, but needed to be sure that they remained safe, comfortable and happy while maintaining their dignity and independence. Twenty years later, Comfort Home Care is a well-established and respected member of the Bethesda, MD community. Comfort Home Care is a family-owned and operated local business—not a franchise.
With Comfort Home Care, people come first and care plans are uniquely created for every client. Registered Nurses conduct periodic visits with each client to ensure that the care plan is being followed, and evaluate whether the plan needs any adjustments. The RN begins by understanding each client’s health history, personal preferences, and individual needs. Not only do they discover current care needs, but also develop an idea of what future needs might be. This process allows the Comfort Home Care professionals to give their clients the absolute best of people-focused, individualized in-home care.
Comfort Home Care provides their premier, people-focused approach to in-home care to Montgomery and Howard Counties—the community they call home. They are licensed, bonded, insured, and their professional caregivers are certified by Alzheimer’s Association.
Comfort Home Care’s expert team of caregivers includes certified nursing assistants, geriatric nursing assistants, and registered nurses. Comfort Home Care professionals enable their clients in Montgomery, Howard and Prince George’s counties to continue living as fully as possible, both at home and in senior living communities. They go above and beyond the typical “activities of daily living” (ADLs)—by helping with medication reminders, meal preparation, light cleaning, laundry, exercise, and facilitating visits to the grocery store, pharmacy, or appointments.
Comfort Home Care would like to extend heartfelt thanks to all the seniors and their families that voted for Comfort Home Care in the 2019 Best of Bethesda Awards.
